Use the utility provided by HP to accomplish this. If anything goes wrong and you want/need to get back to Windows, you can restore it via the USB. Prior to installing OS X, it is a good idea to create an OEM recovery USB from Windows. It is best, therefore to keep it enabled in BIOS so you can still use it on Windows, but have DSDT/SSDT patched properly for OS X. Note: The DSDT/SSDT patching script will automatically disable the discrete nVidia card if you have it enabled in BIOS.
